Registered Physiotherapy

Your physiotherapy experience begins with a thorough assessment of your injury and includes a treatment and/or home program in this first session. Treatment aims to reduce pain & restore flexibility, strength & normal movement using a variety of techniques, such as manual therapy, soft tissue release, taping, ultrasound and, of course, exercise. If the injury requires rest from your sport & training or fitness activities, a modified exercise program that maintains total body strength & fitness, while allowing for optimal recovery, is added. The ultimate goals are to provide you with the tools to move correctly, restore whole body function, full sport performance, ensure safe return to sport & fitness activities & reduce the risk of further injury and pain.

Chiropractic

 As primary care practitioners, chiropractors can develop and carry out a comprehensive treatment / management plan, recommend therapeutic exercise and other non-invasive therapies, and provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counselling in addition to delivering spinal adjustments.


Chiropractic treatment is effective for all types of musculoskeletal injuries. Neck and back pain and stiffness, headaches, postural stress from studying and stress-related muscle tension are all common conditions that respond particularly well to chiropractic care.

Youth Sport Strength & Conditioning

Training individually or in small groups in a private training studio ensures quality in all drills & exercises. The Long Term Athlete Development Model is followed for children and youth. The focus for children is on the development of Fundamental Movement Skills, building the foundation that enables the optimal development of athleticism and sport skills & the reduction of injury risk. The training focus for youth gradually changes & programming becomes more sport specific, as they biologically mature. Mature athlete programs are sport specific with increased attention to metabolic conditioning & continued attention to movement quality.

Private, Semi-Private & Group Training

Fit 4 Sport offers strength & conditioning training, with many options to suit your needs and budget. If you are new to exercise, Fit 4 Sport will teach you the basics you need to train safely and effectively. If you are an experienced fitness enthusiast, we can take your training to the next level!
