Vickie has been working with sport & fitness athletes of all ages, from novice to pro in her 25th year as a physiotherapist, & has been training youth athletes for 9 years. As an HTCP Level 2 Trainer, she has been the trainer for several Clarington Girls Hockey and Clarington Minor Lacrosse teams, and has designed training/injury reduction programs for Team Ontario Lacrosse.


Vickie takes special interest in promoting active living & injury prevention, and takes the time while treating injury and training athletes to assess for and resolve physical literacy gaps in young clients, and injury risks in clients of all ages.


A life-long learner, Vickie has completed extensive continuing education courses & certifications in physiotherapy, strength & conditioning, athlete training & Pilates, and is constantly expanding her knowledge and skills.

Heather graduated from The University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2014 with a BHSc (Hons) in Kinesiology. She then went on to complete a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen’s graduating in November of 2017.


Heather chose Physiotherapy as a profession as she has always had a interest in the use of movement and functional retraining to eliminate pain and improve performance. Heather is also a Functional Movement Screen- Level 1 & Functional Dry Needling- Level 1 certified practitioner. Functional Dry needling is a technique that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.


Heather enjoys working with clients from a variety of populations and is exited to continue growing her clinical skills.
