Vickie Is the founder of Fit 4 Sport, & has been working with sport & fitness athletes of all ages, from novice to pro for 25 years as a physiotherapist, & has been training youth athletes for 9 years. As an HTCP Level 2 Trainer, she has been the trainer for several Clarington Girls Hockey & Clarington Minor Lacrosse teams, & has designed training/injury reduction programs for Team Ontario Lacrosse.  


Seeing how powerful exercise & movement were in changing a client's pain & function, reducing injury risk & improving performance sparked Vickie to develop the concept of Fit 4 Sport and it's mission. She expanded upon the strong exercise physiology & rehabilitative exercise base gained through her physiotherapy degree.  She completed the Twist Sport Conditioning Coach program, earned her National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist designation, and became a certified Pilates instructor.


Vickie takes special interest in promoting active living.  She takes the time while treating injury and training athletes to assess for and resolve physical literacy gaps in young clients, and injury risks in clients of all ages, so that they can best continue to reap the many benefits of sport, fitness and physical activity.  


A life-long learner, Vickie has completed extensive continuing education courses & certifications in physiotherapy (manual therapy, soft tissue release, McKenzie & kinesiotaping to name a few), strength & conditioning, athlete training & Pilates, and is constantly expanding her knowledge and skills.

Greg has been practicing in orthopedics for 25 of his 26 year career, starting at St Joseph’s Hospital in London, and moving to private practice in Durham Region after 3 years. He has completed post-graduate course work in manual therapy, McKenzie Method of spinal diagnosis and treatment, soft-tissue release, Functional Dry Needling & rehabilitative exercise to compliment his extensive clinic experience and exceptional problem solving skills.

A healthy and active lifestyle has always been a huge part of who I am. I got my first gym membership at 17. I’ve always loved to vary the exercise I do whether its running, weights, in door cycling, yoga, boot camps and, of course, Pilates! Exercise is great for mood and to destress. It has always helped me stay mentally balanced and get through the tough times. I began Pilates only a couple of years ago after the birth of my second child. As a result of years of working out and two pregnancies I was sore and unbalanced. I was looking for something new and I also had a large abdominal separation. I needed something more than a gym class to get my pre baby strength back. Three plus years later, my passion and commitment to Pilates continues to grow daily. Pilates transforms your body from the inside out. I’m very excited to be part of the Fit 4 Sport family and to be able to help others find a healthy balanced lifestyle that works for them. I want whoever comes to my class to feel strong, energized and recharged when they leave.
